Attention Graduate Students involved in CERIS

 

 

We want to be sure that we're keeping in touch with all the students who are interested in CERIS' work. We have set up a special listserv for graduate students. This makes it easier for us to maintain an up to date list and be sure that we're reaching everyone who wants to receive our messages.

 

This list also allows graduate students to get in touch with each other.  This listserv to keep you informed of their activities and how you can get involved.  Messages to the list should be directly related to issues of immigration and settlement.

 

If you want to continue to receive information on CERIS activities and information specific to grad students, please subscribe to our new list “CERISgrads-l”.

 

To subscribe to the CERIS Graduate Students Listserv, you MUST subscribe from YOUR OWN e-mail account. The LISTSERV software extracts your e-mail address from the e-mail message you send then uses this address to distribute mail to you. If you subscribe using someone else's e-mail system, the other person, not you, will be added to the list.   Do not type in the Subject line.

 

 

Subscribing to the CERIS Graduate Students Listserv:

 

Send an e-mail message to:

listserv@listserv.utoronto.ca  (upper or lower case is acceptable).

 

In the BODY of the message type a command of the form:

 

subscribe CERISGRADS-L firstname lastname

 

For example:  subscribe CERISGRADS-L John Smith

 

 

Quitting the listserv:

 

You MUST quit using the same e-mail you used to subscribe to the list. The LISTSERV software extracts the e-mail address from the message you send. If you quit using someone else's system, the other person, not you, will be removed from the list.
