(Click here to go into the EMPIRICAL Project)
The EMPIRICAL Project is a series of 12 packages of academic resource materials for courses in the area of immigration and settlement, focusing on the Canadian context. The course materials are available both online and in CD-based versions that are ready to be offered through distance or on-campus education. Instructors are invited to take a closer look at the materials available for use in their own courses or in the development of new courses and programs at their institutions.

Funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), Ontario Region, in partnership with CERIS and other educational institutions, the EMPIRICAL Project is now hosted by the University of Toronto and administered by CERIS.

Please explore this web site to learn how EMPIRICAL might be of interest to you or your institution. If you have any questions or comments please contact CERIS.
